What to do when every day feels like Groundhog Day

Do you remember Groundhog Day? The movie in which every day starts and ends the same way.

Our lives have been impacted since February; it’s now August. Do you feel like every day is the same? Is it really, though?

As with any coaching engagement, you have two main journeys that happen in parallel but not necessarily simultaneously.

?The practical achieving goals journey – the skills you’ve developed and the actions you’ve taken to reach your goals. Achieving goals is rewarding and pays off for all the hard work you’ve put in.

?The personal growth journey – your personal awareness , growth and who you become (or realize you are!) along the way. This can be empowering and open doors to new opportunities.

Look back over the past few months. What have you achieved? What have you learned about yourself? What works for you? What doesn’t? What would you like to see more? What are you ready to drop?

Like Groundhog Day, Phil Connors escapes the eternal time loop ONLY when he realizes who he really is and the impact of the choices he’s making. As my mentor used to say:

awareness creates choice.

Where Corporate meets Wellness is being aware of the lessons available to you and clarifying your new choices to move forward.
